"VOYAGE" Shellman World Time by SVEND ANDERSEN

Letter from Andersen
Dear Sir,

To speak about “Voyage”, this watch exists thanks to my passion for "World Time Watches". Actually, “World Time Watches" call up various memories to me and are closely related to my philosophy when I started as an independent creator.

In order to make useful complications for the ANDERSEN GENEVE watches, and by studying history and development I found out that the invention of world time indications by Cottier in 1932 could be well adapted to the way of life of modern active people.

This fact fully meets the spirit of creation between us and the Shellman-team for "Voyage". I enjoy working with Shellman, and so does Mr. Roland Gloor, the master watchmaker who, in my workshop, organizes preparations of prototypes, dials, hands, finishing of movements and production. Also, of course, he maintains with me the very important contact with Shellman for the creation of style, colours, size etc. to the satisfaction of all parts. At this occasion we have realized that our passion for watches makes no difference though having different cultures.

Yours faithfully,

Svend Andersen
